Ellen Ridenour received her formal art education through Indiana University South Bend.
She has received numerous awards for her art work. The first time she entered the Hoosier Salon (one of the state's largest and oldest art exhibitions), her piece was selected for the Indiana State Museum for their permanent collection and has since had two purchase awards two years in a row. She also has received numerous awards from the Midwest Museum and other juried exhibitions. Ellen has a printmaking studio located in The Old Bag Factory in Goshen, Indiana where she teaches classes.
